Hitting the Slopes

Saying a fond farewell to my husband tonight as he jets off to the ski slopes,  I could not help but giggle at some wry observations the cartoonist Oliver Preston - a lifelong keen skier had made.
His keen observations on winter sports has produced a fabulous book called 'HITTING THE SLOPES'
which features 96 pages of colour and black and white cartoons on to quote:

"whether you are a beginner, piste perfectionist, or mountain restaurant gourmet I hope you will take something from the social observations that appears in these drawings that depict what I see as the endearing lunacy of skiers and resort life"
                                                             Oliver Preston

Whether its on the piste or late night apres-ski the cartoons in HITTING THE SLOPES give everyone a chance to laugh at themselves and this popular sport.
At only £14.99 you have a chance to purchase a signed copy by Oliver Preston
